The Tastes of Summer
I always like summer
Best
You can swim all day long
Until your hands get as shriveled as prunes
You can slurp up a tasty smoothie
And eat delicious juicy watermelon
You can hangout with your friends
And have a nice picnic with your family
And go camping up in the mountains
The stars at night shining so bright
You can ride your bike on a hot summer day
Or have a lemonade stand
There are no jackets but
Short sleeved shirts
And shorts
Jumping on the tramp until your legs get sore
Roasting marshmallows over a campfire
Eating s’mores
How delicious they taste
The warm wind blowing through your hair
The hot sidewalk on your feet
Neighbors play outside together until late
Snow is gone
The sun has come
The smell of summer is here
