Dreamer
I asked my father,
"Daddy, can I stand?"
"Sure, honey,
give it a shot!"
So I pushed,
and I pushed,
and I finally stood,
"Thanks, Daddy!"
Then I asked my father,
"Daddy, can I walk?"
"Sure you can, sweetie,
Try!"
So I put my right foot out,
and then put out my left,
and finally I walked,
"Thanks, Daddy!"
Then I asked my father,
"Daddy, can I fly?"
"I don't know about that, darling,
but go ahead and try!"
So I stood up on the couch,
and leapt into the air,
but came tumbling to the ground,
"Why, Daddy?"
"Well, you tried your best,
and keep on trying,
because almost everything is possible,
if you believe."
