Hidden,
Behind a veil,
Of black and white,
Lace that defines,
Who I am,
All my feelings,
Trapped behind,
A veil of insecurity,
And within its beauty lays,
My heart and all my ways,
Preserved perfectly,
Just behind a haze,
Hidden,
Behind a smile,
Red and white,
Shaped perfectly,
Just right right for them,
Not me,
And in my mouth,
Lay all those things,
I meant to say,
But are kept quiet secretly,
Hidden is my heart,
Forbidden are my ways,
Lost is my understanding,
Of all my youthful days.

I guess this is about being unsure of myself and wanting to stop being hidden and start getting heard.

“It is easy to forget how full the world is of people, full to bursting, and each of them imaginable and consistently misimagined.” -John Green, Paper Towns

Wow.  I can relate to this in so many ways.  I've been waiting to see, or write, something like this.  Haha.  Great work. =]
