The Rain
Rain slowly falls from the sky,
Your hand caressing my face so softly.
Moving hair from my eyes, I see your smile.
You lean closer, my heart begins to pound.
The rain pours as soon as your lips touch mine.
Rain, how lovely, you pull me closer.
So, this is what true love feels like?
Do you realize what you do to me?
Your warmth crashing into my soul,
your every touch sending shock waves.
I love the rain, but not as much as I love you.
Your hair falls in your eyes,
I can't help but to say;
"I love you," those three little words.
You smile and pull me closer again.
You say "I've loved you since the day I met you."
Tears falling while I lay in this bed, looking out the window.
After waking from this dream, O realised how much I truly love you.
I listened to my heart instead of my head,
and I dreamt of being with you.
I love the rain, but never as much as I love you.
