Cold nights hovering,
numbness setting in,
nothing around,
and nowhere to be found,
what your father did,
the worst it gets,
surviving isnt the answer,
where newfounded treasures,
become oldfounded anwers-
Frosty windows blind the view
no matter the masking,
the pain shines through,
it hurts,
it makes us learn,
it blinds,
but yet opens our eyes,
it makes us cry,
but with newfounded eyes.
