Useless Battle
Cry for me once, be done
The battle is over you won
I know your story and lies
But who won the actual prize
You cradled me with precious love
And affection, couldn’t get enough
Those words I will never forget
Are the same ones you’ll always regret
My heart was in your hands, you knew
Then you broke it into pieces, I had no clue
That face and those eyes deceived
Making me mourn for hours and leave
I was gone before you understood
That you loved me more than all could
I’m the winner because I knew this
But I’ll let you think you are, don’t want the baby p***ed
