Tear drops fall from my eyes
Expressing the hope I once had to be lost
I am defeated and this is what I have to show
This is how I prove it

The negativity now flows over me
As sadness becomes a shadow
A shadow that follows close behind
It will never leave

With one crack being torn open in my broken life
It tries to squeeze in
Into my thoughts, my breaths
It's a token of a life I had to ruin

I had to go and shed those tears
I had to let my feelings out
That were once fine being bottled up
I let you see me soaked and drowning in my own tears

I was vulnerable and you knew this all to well
You knew I was at my breaking point
So that's when you started
Started to dig a hole deep into my heart

You took advantage of my vulnerability
I let it happen and I could only blame myself
I tempted you and invited you in to meet me at my weakest
So now I must pay this price

I have to deal with you as you tear away at my broken life
That is too damaged to be patched up
You've made me a wreck
A disaster

Your disaster
No longer held to free will
That must follow your every command
To be ever chained down by shackles that you have made

All because I let you in my life when I was down
All because I trusted you with my vulnerability
All because I wanted to believe that there was someone in this world I could trust
But I guess I was wrong

(And now this is the punishment I must endure)
