Death and Darkness
To find ones love
 does not love one back
 is a horrid fate
 trying to smile
 becomes harder
 with each passing day
 the love felt
 by one and not another
 hurts more than
 a thousand wounds
 the darkness beacons

Doest thou wish upon mine head
a pain worse than death itself
 in its most terrible glory
the light that shines so true
so true the wish unto thee
 the wish of thine happiness
 happiness spilléd o'er unto me
 unabsorbed by mine unyeilding guilt
guilt as a belovéd once lost
 found and lost ere again
in the space o' less a day
 tears open wounds left fest'ring
 wounds that pain the death
 the death that approaches
