Your Son
I got mother’s skin,
But your eyes,
I hate it.
Every time I look in the mirror,
I see the eyes of a killer,
Memories of all the times you hurt mom.
I hate you,
And love you,
Why can’t you just leave us alone?
Why must mom cry every time she sees me?
I am your greatest accomplishment,
A thorn in mother’s side she can never remove,
Your son.
