If I Could Only See You
Wipe away the most tears
They show me all my fears,
of losing someone of facing distress
the memories fall and I let the press
down on my shoulders trying to break me down.
I can’t bring out a smile, yet I try to hide my frown.
As I face the most difficult time of my life,
it is as if I have been stabbed with a knife
I want to rip it out and end the pain but the scar will always stay.
My heart will never mend as I think of you everyday.
I will try to be strong but I have lost so much faith,
and I swear I see you all of the time.
If I could only find you one more time I would do anything even climb,
if it meant one more moment with you,
all of these tears would be worth it its true
If I could only see you.
