breakfast
Id often have cereal for breakfast
Crunchy sugar crisps or honey covered O’s or frosted wheat’s all in a bowl with milk poured in the center so the top layer stayed crunchy. I would chew at the milk and cereal, spooning it dolefully .My mind would wander as the spoon dipped into the bowl and returned to my mouth, unconsciously searching for the perfectly crunchy and milky mixture with my spoon. Sometimes I would have banana with the cereal. My mother would chop slices into the cereal using my spoon. I would watch the bananas disappear into the milk and when she was done I would return to eating and mother would go make coffee or feed the cat.
