Abnormality
They dance unaware of what’s looming
Enlightened, I shout manically
Roaring words of warning
To the joyous deaf crowd
Only one moment
Would change everything
But to them
There is not one second
For words anymore
Just music and dancing
I feel defeated
Until they turn to me
And tell me to hush
Because they can hear me
They know what’s coming
They have been warned
They carry on anyways
Smiling and dancing
It is so strange
How death fails to scare them
