Left But Promised Not To Return
I felt the walls closing in on me
I felt my breath shorten
I felt my chest tighten
I needed air
I needed out
You came down on me and I was slowly falling
The look in your eyes had me set to stay and wait every single time but there all lies in your eyes
I just never noticed, till' now
You left but promised to return
Who knew when you promised to return you really meant the opposite
I was addicted to the pain, anguish, bitterness and distress of wanting someone who was unattainable
Tomorrow I will remember to forget you,I must remember this time
I felt the walls closing in on me
I felt my breath shorten
I felt my chest tighten
I needed air
I needed out
