Doolin

At the edge of a continent,
There lies a town
In the echoes of my ears,
There plays a song

In the recesses of my mind,
There lives a story
Reflected in my eyes,
There dances a beauty

In the furrows of my heart,
There sleeps a summer
At the crossroads of my soul,
There yearns a passion

A passion for green
A passion for music
A passion for history
A passion for rain

And a passion for life
That exceeds dimensions,
That rides a melody
Into the whispering dawn.

I traveled to Ireland this summer and spent a week in the small and beautiful coastal town of Doolin. The town inspired this poem.

I love it, it really shows how introspective your personality is. I agree tho, it would have been great to be able to picture Doolin (thats a funny word) for oursevles, but other than it is beautifully written and gives me insight on the town's wonderful affect on you.

I'd like to go to Ireland someday...It seems like a very interesting place.

I love the beat of this poem- It would be cool if you could describe the town more, but I like it this way too. :)
