Existing Love
Of love
Your friends
Come to mind
Your boyfriend, girlfriend
Did you ever think
Of just your family?
There for you
They never leave
Always telling you
How to live
Because they lived before you
They know the road ahead,
the one we don't see
We ignore them
thinking they don't understand
they don't know us
They aren't me.
Yes, they are
We are created by them
Made from them
Molded to the shape
they've brought us up to be
Why do the children
Never understand
the undying love
from your parents
Mom, Dad
Maybe the older brother, sister
When we think of love
very few see their face
I don't
Only when I know
It's the right thing to do
I won't lie
I don't see it either
Their love
Even when they're mad at you
Love comes from them
It's the very first we know
why do we think
it does not exist?
