Hidden
I drift in on a cloud,
Rolling like a balmy breeze.
Timid glances linger on me,
Like the clingy wave to the indifferent shore.
They cannot see past smoke and lined mirrors,
Past my knowing smile, into obscure eyes.
Deep within I wish I could come clean,
But without my airs, I am nothing.
