Your Song
All I want is your song
With that voice so beautiful
People don't consider it to be music
But what else could it be
It was something I could listen to over and over again
As your heart keeps the beat
and your breathing keeps the melody
It resounds through my soul never to be forgotten
It calms me down and soothes my fears
Letting me forget,
Reminding me I'm not alone
But tell me,
What do I do when the song ends?
I'd love to just keep it on repeat,
Rewinding to my favorite parts
Skipping through the lines I choose not to remember.
