Beautiful Nation
I close my eyes,
And drink in it's beauty,
It's a beauty so dark it's light,
It sinks into my mind,
It'll stay there forever,
And forever it will stay bright,
It is a great lesson,
One i'll never forget,
For if I forget i'll never fight,
I won't fight for what I believe in,
Nor shall I fight for what's just,
And what's unjust will keep me in fright,
It is but a memory,
But not one of mine,
That makes me feel safe at night,
This is the memory,
Of the birth of our nation,
One whose colors are blue, red and white.
