On a rosebush,
Deep inside the forest,
There is one flower,
Standing tall.
But day by day,
The petals fall,
Until one remains,
To cheer us all.

The author's comments:
I got inspiration for this piece when I was sitting on my porch. We have two rosebushes at my house and I was staring at them because some of the roses bloomed and the idea popped into my head. I hope people will find meaning in this piece.
