Gone
I had gotten so used to seeing her walk,
Up and down the worn halls,
Her smile soothing at the blink of an eye,
Her eyes glowing with passion for what she did.
She couldn’t stay mad at someone for long,
She was as caring as a mother bear,
She was everyone’s mother bear.
But what happened to her?
Well he didn’t care,
He didn’t understand.
Pain,
Fury,
Anguish,
Tears flowed down her cheeks,
Staining them with a glossy silk cover,
She was forced to stop what she so dearly loved,
Her passion had gotten caged and forgotten.
He threw that key to her passion away,
His life went on,
But hers did not.
She couldn’t believe it,
Nor could I,
My mind couldn’t comprehend this,
I was so angry,
I thought this was nothing more than a mere dream,
This meant that her smile was gone,
Her warm eyes were gone,
This meant that she was gone.
This is dedicated to my mom,
I love you!
