If i told you i loved you and walked away
could you still live your life from day to day
knowing that nothing could remain the same
because we were arguing and I'm to blame,
and now fading is the memory of our first kiss
but your love is something that I'll always miss
so if i told you i loved you and tried to walk away
would you hold me close and tell me to stay.

Your rhymes aren't cheesy and I like that. I hate it when the ryming words don't really fit into the poem but are there to make it sound the same. Good job.
