The Snow
I watch the snow out the window falling on the grass finding
its green softness irresistible. I love the way it comes from the
murky clouds all pretty and light, like a field of wild flowers in
the warm, precious sun. As I look a thought pierces me,
reminding me about the good Christmas cheer. The green grass
is my life my soft and hard parts. The dead leaves that fell from
the trees in the trees in the fall are my ugliness in my life, and
the darkness in my thoughts. But, my life isn’t over with the
leaves. It’s the snow, the white goodness that falls on the grass
today. It covers up the darkness in me bringing forth light.
