when life gives you lemons, make grape juice. Then step back and let the world wonder how you did it
and
when life gives you lemon, throw them back at life

How can I forgive
Is it possible to forget
And not regret my decision
How can I release
the thoughts that hurt me so
to let go
be free of this prison
It's like I'm in a jail
One that I built too
i don't know what to do
Freedom's what I need
My soul is caged
I feel alone
even in the place I call home
I just want to be happy
Sorrow, sorrow
Hopefully by tomorrow
I'll have forgotten my sorrow
And forgave those who caused

The author's comments:
I learned that it is important to forgiev and forget in order to be really free and happy, so this poem details that struggle of having to let go. I just want people to relate and maybe try to let go too.

I agree with what you're saying through this and I can definitely relate. :)

Your poems are always really relatable. My only criticism is that you forgot to capitalize 'I'. Other than that, this was great!

I am like that also... I do NOT forgive and forget very easily! I liked it because it was relatable, and you have a very unique writing style :D
