I love you
But I hate what you write
Not because it isn't good
No, no that's not it at all
You write beautifully

But you're always writing our story
And, boy, let me tell ya
I am so jealous of those characters
They seem so happy
So in love
And damnit, you know it
How badly I want it

It's like I'm watching it
Desperate to live it
There's this barrier
Like a glass window
I cannot break through
To get to you
And be a part of that us
I keep witnessing
Through your words
