clawing
scratching
ripping
tearing

it's black
midnight
it's cold
my breath forming
swirling scenes of mist
snow falls
softening the world,
turning red at my feet
claws flash silver in the moonlight
(but were they even claws at all?)
his eyes gleam,
reflecting all the beauty of the stars,
masking his anger, hatred


PAIN
shatters the peace

clawing
scratching
ripping
tearing

i wake up covered in scars
