my eyes arose to a face so relaxed
kissing the lips gently
and returning to the everyday facts
he told me he loved to say
the 3 words that means the most
I Love You was all he could say
after the tears he broke
from the lids i watched upon
the grace on his face
telling more stories with his facial expressions
letting me know the dried tears
wasn't worth that beautiful face
caring with his lips and
kissing with his eyes made the moment equally fair
even when he blinked between the
non-heartless moments i were to stare
as to night the sun went down
and the graceful eyes begin to close
