"You can't run away from this, freak!"
Faster and faster
Down the sidewalk
Tears streaming down my face
Longing for my mother,
Longing for anything,
Longing for distance.
"Where are you going, freak?"
I'll go away.
I'll run away to a place unlike any other.
A place I'll call home.
A place where my mother won't work,
A place we're I'll play with kids my own age and be accepted.
"You can't escape us, freak!"
I'll escape.
Just you wait and see.
