Sometimes the bully isn’t the captain of the cheerleaders or the girl who for some reason has it out for only you; sometimes the worst bully of them all is you.- Karles_Ivy

She wanders the screaming hallways
Oblivious to the world around her
All she know: "I must act happy"

A plastic smile hugs her face
Careesing her every movement
Concealing her unbearable pain

Her soul is dying within her
She cries a desperate plea for help
Yet this all goes unnoticed

The cause, you might ask?
It's trapped inside her plastic heart
Countless distress that shall never take voice

She is a plastic Barbie Doll
Hanging from a single thread of hair
Dangerously close to falling

Her memory will never fade
Everyday she wears her plastic smile
Is this as hilarious as you thought it'd be?

The author's comments:
Haven't you ever noticed that most people give plastic smiles? That is, pretend everything's all hunky dory when really, they're dying inside? Most of us are that way, for whatever reason it may be. This is just one of those ways to express those feelings.
