Time passes by
I still see your face
Engraved in my heart,
You will remain.

The seed of our friendship
Matured into love,
A one-sided affection
You never knew of.

I loved the way you looked at me
And how I held your gaze
But your eyes only read friendship
So I had to look away.

To me you were perfect
Every flaw was overlooked
You were everything I needed
I no longer had to search.

Even though now
I do not think of your
Smile everyday,
You are a memory that
Will never fade away.

Hey. Thanks for commenting on my art. This is amazing. I absolutely love how you expressed yourself. I write as well and i know that writing can be an outlet to emotions, but it can be hard to find the perfect words. Great job.
