Words
Why is it so hard
To make words appear on the paper
Explaining the hurricane whirling inside of me?
All these letters and symbols
Are swirling within my head
Yet I can't pen them down into sensible nonsense.
Riding along on my brain waves,
Each notion makes perfect sense
Until written down on a piece of paper.
Why can't these thoughts unjumble
And make sense for once
In their meddlesome existence?
Must they haunt me so
And cause so many unnecessary issues?
Why can't they just make sense?
