the building enrgy before the crash
he is screaming,
 fists swinging
 one minute,
 the next
 he's smiling
 laughing
 embracing me
 (ignoring my wince of pain)
 silence sets in
 and it's more dangerous
 than any form of dialog
 (just picture a lioness (him)
in one corner of the ring
me (an antelope)in the opposite, pacing, she's watching me with her eyes, head fallowing my progress.)
 the tensions unbearable
trying to read the energy in the air between us
 (just mere inches)
never knowing what'll set you off next
how far can i be stretched before i snap?
