You have fallen
We promised to be best friends until the very end
We fought, we laughed, and we picked each other up when we fell
So we promised through blood tiers and rage we would always come out okay
Until the day you finally reach what you liked to call “fame”
And I just sat back and watched our friendship dwindle away
It was all you ever wanted when we started high school and what we had was obviously stopped being important to you
You did everything and anything it took to get you, were you are, and made every sacrifice, took every risk.
And now I can’t even look at what I use to call a friend because the sight of you makes me sick
At first your rise to fame didn’t seem like such a sham but then big things between us started well they start to change
Whenever we hung out it seemed like I was a burden to you things didn’t seem the same
Then at school you wouldn’t even say hello that’s when I knew it was my cue to go
But then things got worse and I never saw it coming you just couldn’t stop your mouth from running
I heard the things you told about me those nasty lies, yours were the only words that ever made me cry
After a few weeks you stopped and I never heard from you again
But I still would look on after all you were once a friend
And months past and I got to see you fall
But this time I wasn’t there to help you stand back up straight and tall
So how does it feel to know you have fallen and have no one left
To know you would have had me if you hadn’t plunged those daggers into my chest….
