A stream of thoughts
In endless flow
Became confused
And could not know
Whether they'd met
Themselves before
Or how for a moment
To circle no more
So they wondered
Round and round
Till they were so lost
They could no longer be found
A peaceful blank
Of boundless space
Filled dreamland
And took their place
And so this silence
Did itself pervade
Till God the light
Of morning made
