Speak Volumes
These few words will speak volumes as I softly say your name
Emotion stands behind them while the outside stays the same
You’ll see, for once, what pain will do to a young and fragile soul
And nevermore will you shut your door on the heart of which you stole

My eyes will bore into your being with such harsh intensity
That your heart will shatter perilously as mine has done to me
I’ll say these words again, to let your name roll off my tongue
And watch you flinch the slightest as though my words have finally stung
