What I've Found
It would seem all my life I’d been searching,
Though I knew not what to find.
It had never seemed the puzzle lay short,
Still a piece left to my mind.
Alone wandering these endless walkways,
Never straying far from strife.
Deep gorges set and made still steeper,
Having never lived my life.
You came and wondrously the world had changed,
I awoke to all new things.
And this day it seemed when I tried to fly,
I suddenly had the wings.
I could not tell you how this came about,
These small changes within me.
But from now on the puzzle remains whole,
And each I becomes a we.
