Soft rain
Tricking lightly
Down my
Window pane

Oh, how I love
The trails of
Tears flowing
From above

As if the sky
Itself
Is shedding its
Sadness
On
I

So I watch
Patiently
And listen
As the Earths tears
Flow

After a while,
The pitter-patter
Comes
To a halt

And the Earth
Forgets
Its sadness
As the Sun
Returns

I smile
Softly
At the beauty
And humanity
Of our world
