Winter Poem
The faithful tree dances to the mercy of the wind.
The air’s frosty bits leave it
vulnerable,
Wrapping the barren branches in conniving sparkling ice
That mischievously shines like daggers.
The naive tree, unfamiliar to the cliche of life,
Has grown too old to remain ignorant.
Mother Nature cannot let a part of her
Be a failure.
The thick frost restrains the poor struggling tree
Clutching the branches
Twisting his arm
And molds him into Her liking.
The conforming tree transforms into mystical radiance
Maternal pressure has smothered the ugliness
With glamour
Revolutionizing the decaying wood
Into what the world perceives as splendor.
