Rain
splashing onto my
pale flesh
streaming down my face
gliding across my arms
drenching my hair
sitting in the damp grass
mud engulfing me
sucking at my legs
my skin
turned green by the thin
strips of plant
sticking to my thighs
but I love it
my special time
the calm splashes
allowing my escape
from troubles
as if
the little tiny droplets
could wash away
the hurt of this world.

So cool! I also love the rain so I can totally relate to this! I really like the ending: The little tiny droplets could wash away the hurt of this world. Keep writing! :) Rating 5 stars!

This poem was extremely beautiful. It was so detailed, and just reading it relaxed me. I like the fact that it was free-verse. The way it was written kind of reminded me of rain! Keep up the good work! :)
