Withdraw
I don’t hear you
I don’t see you
My chest implodes
Constricting
I feel the withdraw
I’m like an addict
But you, you are my drug
I can’t get enough
I wish there was an unending supply
Yet I know the pain you cause
And the life you have ruined
I tell myself just one conversation
One look
I can handle that
But I can’t
That one turns to another
And then another
Soon I can’t stop
But now I don’t feel your warm embrace
Or your happy gaze
You’re finished
There is no more
The withdraw begins once more
But you won’t be there to quench it again
