I'll Be the Bad Guy

I wish it hadn’t come to this,
but this is the time in our lives when we must choose
who we are, and how we will be remembered.
It wasn’t all your fault;
I can admit this, though you constantly
blame everything solely on me.
There had to be a victim
and that part just wasn’t me.
So I let you call me out and I listened to your scream.
I’ll be your villain; I’m not ashamed.
I am strong and will not be preyed upon by the likes of you.
If this is a dog eat dog world,
My St Bernard will swallow your Chiwawa
If it keeps me from submitting to you.
