“maybe I can help”

“Ah, yes, you want to be a writer don’t you?”

“You say that as if it’s a bad thing”

“No, no. just a lonely thing. Sometimes the world you create on the page seems more friendly than the lives in the world you actually live in.

The stars feather across the sky
Ripples of birds and water flying high
Of sparkles in the sunset and moon
And as I sit here I’m dreaming of you.
Of warmth and comfort, your taste, your touch
All the memories bubbling up
A flood of emotions I can’t control
Blushing beauty, you live in my soul.
I’ve always held myself in chains
Dreams in dark laid in to die
In a Rapunzel tower far away I used to lie alone
Now you’ve climbed up threw all of my walls and broken all my chains
I’m trapped again
But in your warm embrace
We fit together perfectly.

"You have to consider the possibility that God does not like you" Tyler Durden Fight Club

I love this. It's so relatable. My only critique is that I think if you're going to rhyme, the whole poem should rhyme. Other than that it's really good.
