Breaking a girl’s heart doesn't leave you with pride.
Instead you feel like you've died inside.
That feeling of emptiness that haunts your dreams,
Knowing what you did ruins everything.
Seeing now the problems of the past, now leaves you pain that will always last.
Fix the heart, which you crumbled to pieces.
But walk away knowing what you did was for the right reasons.
People always say girls are like fish in the sea.
What happens when one floats by me?
Do I go for the catch, know it is the one,
Or
Do I remain patient and calm for one to come up?
Such as a little patience leaves you in a wreck,
Yet knowing if your patient you will not regret.
If love is so blind that it walks right in front of you.
What will happen if someone accidentally walks right into you?
Is it a mistake or is it fate.
I thought love was something you choose to create.

Just another casualty.
It's sad but true.
And even dead I'm still ahead
of most of you.

I think the last two lines were the strongest. Really good piece. Keep writing :]
