Do you remember when
I was a little boy and I would
get off the school bus?

I would run to the park
where I would pick you those
dreadful weeds before running
back home to give them to you.

You always smiled and
told me they were your favorite
and I would be so proud.

I always loved the way
you used to smile.
I wish you would show
me just one more.

Well, I couldn't find any weeds
so I brought you some flowers.
They're daisies. I think those
were always your real favorite.

And Mama, it's okay not
to be here for me anymore.
You helped me grow into
a big strong man and
I can take care of myself now.

You just rest now.

It's okay, Mama, just rest.
