I’m all bruised and broken
For you let me fall
Twenty stories down
And didn’t even look back
You tore me apart
But never blinked an eye
You stabbed my heart
And only stopped
To sharpen your sword
Your words ran through me
All too quick
My blood drenched tears
Falling softly to the ground
Your poison still resonating
Deep within
And when I try to forget
Your Face slips back into my mind
But never again
Will you hurt me
For I am done

Be careful the words you speak,
make them soft and sweet;
You never know from day to day,
which ones you'll have to eat;

I really like this poem. I can relate to the passion portrayed in your words Thanks for writing it.
