Seattle
Fresh sea air breeze,
Seattle is calling for me,
Creamy grey skies,
The ferries passing by,
Sometimes sunny,
Mainly rainy,
Sun comes,
A precious gift,
Tourist,
Home to the Mariners,
A haven to me,
Famous fish markets,
Just around the corner,
And the Space needle,
Stands like a trophy,
Standing out in the city scape,
Everything just seems right,
Can’t wait,
Till I come again,
My beloved,
Seattle

The problem with any poem geographically based is that its not interesting to people who aren't from their or don't have any connections with that place.
It's a good poem, but if you want to catch everyone's interest, and not just people who like Seattle, make some metaphors, be creative with your writing style, throw in sme glitter and slap a bow on it. An over dressed commoner makes a better impression than just a regular commoner.
