Your shooting baskets
up in heaven now,
I remember when
I could spot you in a crowd,
you stood so tall
and walked so proud,
you made damage
when you made the winning basket,
you strained you heart
and then it stopped,
you went down
but I know you fought,
I miss you so much already
in only three days,
I sit here thinking of you
and I pray,
I think of the times
we used to play,
I would have
traded places,
but god put
you ahead ten paces,
and left me here
to look at sad face
