"Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we've touched"

Racing,
thump, thump, thump.
The rhythmic
sound
of my heart
elevated.
Nerves
on edge.
Weak,
heavy breaths,
I look
around, disoriented.
Breathe
inhale, exhale.
Pain sears
my silky white
skin.
Pushing,
through my veins.
Searching,
for my heart.
Blood,
red and smooth.
Seeps,
down my body.
Leaving,
trails of violence.
Drips,
onto the cold
black tile floors.
Vanishing,
into the abyss.
My feelings
flow with it.
Deeper,
until nothing.
