I need to stop.
My life feels like it’s in fast-forward
And I can’t catch up
I’m tired of the lists
The missed important moments
I’m too young to be this busy
The late nights
Are eating away my sanity
I want to stop
And enjoy life
Notice the little things
That makes me feel important
And grateful for the beauty around me
I want to cherish the moments
That I know won’t last forever
I can stop
And save the outlines, the studying,
The 8-paged essays
For a better time
Because now
I will catch up
I will take a break
I will enjoy life
And I will stop
