Forget
I've spent days trying to forget you.
The way you make me feel brand new.
Trying to forget the way you smile.
When we touch, my heart races like I've run the mile.
Before you I felt so dead,
But now my love for you is bright red.
You saved my life,
So why did you stab me with a knife?
My friends warned me.
My heart was locked but I gave you the key.
My life is dreary,
Rain keeps falling and my heart is weary.
I wonder if I'll ever forget,
The way our voices blended in a duet.
My heart breaks everyday.
I remember our date in May.
I thought we'd be together, forever,
But I guess I will never forget you EVER!
