Its such a shame that you try and belittle.

I was ignorant once, and then my ignorance made no sense.
I understood none and found nothing to chaste me hence.
I realized that the other side never lasts.
And while I was there I completed many an insufferable task.
I feel I deserve some sort of reciprocation.
But, that, too, will come with proper gestation.
I grew old when I was there, though slowly aged.
I found the operations behind this world, surprisingly little staged.
After walking for miles in my own shoes, I return to my recycled reality with nothing consequential, nothing new to me.
